FAQ
   1. How do I place my order with Xocolatl?

    For standard gift packages: order online. you may use a credit card or pay through paypal.  If you would like to send a check, complete the order form,print and mail with your check to the office address
     For custom orders: please fill out the custom order form.  We will contact you about the details then send you a quote for your approval.  Your order will be processed upon receipt of payment.
   
     2.  How much advance notice do you need for order?

         The sooner you order the better.  Allow about two weeks for cookies, cakes, and chocolates. Wedding cake orders should be placed at least three months in advance.  We can try to accomodate rush orders depending on how busy we are.

     3. How much do your products cost?

     Most of our products are decoratd to order, therefore we price each order accordingly.  Final costs depends on the ingredients and how elaborate the decorations are. 

      4.  How should I pay?

     You can pay with a credit card or through paypal invoicing,we also take  checks which should be received before orders are processed. 7% sales tax is added to all orders.

      5.  How do I get my order?

     You can schedule a pick up time or have your order delivered with the following delivery costs:
     Up to 5 miles from downtown Valpraiso- $ 5
     5-10 miles - $10
     10-15 miles- $15
     15-20 miles- $20
      Cookies and Chocolates are available for shipping anywhere in the country (may depend on seasonal conditions for chocolate).  Shipping charges will be included in the invoice.

        6. How fresh are your online gift packages ?

       On line orders are made and shipped the same day to ensure freshness.  Order that are in by 10 AM are processed the same day. 

        7.  What are your cake serving sizes?

      We can make any size cake big or small according to you needs. Here is a guideline:
      6" cake  will serve 4-8 
      8" cake - 8-16
      10" cake -16-24
      12" cake -24-36     
      14" cake 36-50
      16" cake 50 or more
  This is a rough guideline.  Serving size may depend on the number of layers you have on your too.  
         
         8. Do you have a return policy?
     
        We are unable to provide refunds or exchanges due to the nature of our products. However, you can be assured to get the highest quality products and service.
